Depression

Depression is generally considered the common cold of mental illnesses. However, just like a common cold, people tend to not take depression as serious. We tend to undertreat or don’t treat depression at all, thinking it will eventually go away. Unfortunately, depression does not go away after a couple of days.We all get sad or stress at times, but with depression it will interfere with your daily life. Signs and symptoms include:

  • Overeating or appetite loss
  • Thoughts of suicide or suicide attempts
  • Aches or pains, headaches, cramps, or digestive problems that do not ease even with treatment
