Some people believe that how we feel and think about ourselves is the root to how we deal with life effectively. Self-esteem begins in early childhood and building a healthy self-esteem continues throughout life. Life events are constant so self-esteem can waiver from time to time. Some individuals will have to work on building their self-esteem throughout their lives and others will need some assistance when a particular situation occurs. Without a healthy self-esteem, parts of our life journey will be more challenging.
